Ettore Metrangolo

Ettore Metrangolo is an Italian show jumper who rides under the Maltese flag – he holds a Maltese passport as he has Maltese family. Based just outside Milan, he specialises in the training of young horses over jumps. He brings on youngsters, competes them and then sells them on. He participates Longines World Ranking List competitions under the local flag in the 150cm classes.

Ettore’s clinic will be held over two days and riders will be given a slot on the Saturday and one on the Sunday. Each slot will last one hour and will be open to three riders. Riders can book the entire slot (and share between friends) or book single slots and will be placed with other riders of a similar level. Riders booking a single slot must be flexible with timings of lessons. Private sessions are also available upon request.

Clinics are open to an audience at no charge. This is a great opportunity to learn from your fellow riders.

Price

Lessons are priced at €80 for two 1-hour slots in a group session, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Private sessions will be charged at €120 for two lessons. Confirmation of bookings will only be made against payment and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. 

Though Ettore recommends riders take a lesson on both Saturday and Sunday, we understand that sometimes this is simply not possible. Riders will be able to take one class, at €60 for a private lesson and €40 for shared lesson.

Prices may be amended at the discretion of the MEF. 

Refunds

We will do our utmost to stick to the dates that have been advertised, however in the event of bad weather, clinics may be postponed or cancelled at the discretion of the MEF. As costs will have already been incurred – in the form of flights and accommodation – full refunds will not be made. The MEF will make every effort to return as much of the money as possible. 

Should riders be unable to participate in the clinics, full refunds will only be made should we secure another booking in their place. Should we not be able to secure another booking a 50% refund will be made.

Location

To accommodate as many riders as possible, Ettore will be seeing riders at MK arena and Maghtab arena. Contact us to request sessions at a different location. 

Bookings 

Riders may book lessons through Facebook messenger or email, requesting whichever session they choose. Should the session be available the rider will be provisionally booked for 24 hours pending payment. If the 24-hour period elapses, the session will become free for other riders to book.
