Dressage Clinics
Dressage Clinics
Riding with a qualified dressage coach will improve a rider’s chance at success. Benefits of dressage training are vast for any horse as it hones natural balance, obedience, flexibility and boosts mental and physical confidence. While the ultimate goal of dressage is the test itself, dressage training is beneficial to all horses, whether it’s for other sports including show jumping or just for leisure.
Dressage with Levi Hunt
Having competed to Grand Prix and ridden internationally for Great Britain on multiple occasions, Levi Hunt brings an understanding of the sport to the highest level but holds the same enthusiasm for every horse and rider combination, regardless of breed or stage of training.
Having regularly trained with Carl Hester and many others over his professional career, Levi brings a wide range of experience to Dressage and is known for his ability to give riders the necessary knowledge to carry on progressing themselves.
Levi trains combinations in numerous countries from the UK to Spain and Dubai at in person clinics or via online sessions using PIVO training equipment and is committed to their every success.
Dates
Levi is scheduled to teach three clinics in Malta this year. Dates as follows:
23-25 February
25-28 April
24-26 May
28-30 June
Sessions and Prices
Levi will be teaching horse and rider combinations on a one-one basis .
Riders will have access to lessons on the Saturday and Sunday in 45-minute slots. Riders may choose to take one or two lessons. Sessions are €65 per lesson.
Test Lessons
Levi will also offer some clinics which are aimed at helping riders ride a dressage test for competition. Levi will spend 15 minutes teaching you how to ride a good warm up for competition. During the next 20 minutes he will work with you on movements from the test within the marked arena in the white boards. You will then be able to ride your test, with Levi’s assistance. Competition gear is optional. Test lessons are priced at €80 and will include a recording of your test along with your test sheet with some of Levi’s comments to help you prepare for the competition.
Levi’s attitude is that training should be ongoing, and riders should always have access to their coaches. For this reason, he remains open to riders’ questions and possible online sessions in between scheduled dates. These can be discussed directly with him on a one-to-one basis.
Refunds
We will do our utmost to stick to the dates that have been advertised, however in the event of bad weather, or unforeseen circumstances, clinics may be postponed or cancelled at the discretion of the MEF. Should the clinic be cancelled, full refunds will be made. Should the rider cancel less than two weeks prior to the clinic, no refunds will be made, with exception of illness or injury of either horse or rider. This will only be made on presentation of a doctor’s or veterinary certificate.
Location
To accommodate as many riders as possible, lessons will be held at MK arena and Maghtab arena.
Bookings
Riders may book lessons through Facebook messenger or email, requesting whichever session they choose. Should the session be available the rider will be provisionally booked for 24 hours pending payment. If the 24-hour period elapses, the session will become free for other riders to book.
