All those involved in national equestrian sport to adhere to the Code of Conduct for the Welfare of the Horse and to always acknowledge and accept that the welfare of the horse must be paramount. Welfare of the horse must never be subordinated to competitive or commercial influences.

Malta Equestrian Federation (MEF) Code of Conduct is built on the principles of integrity, fair play, equality and respect for others (including animals). These ethical principles apply to all levels.

Persons associated with the MEF are responsible for understanding the codes of conduct related to themselves and upholding the standards which are laid out.
