The Equestrian Sport Educative Event (ESEE) is a tool to educate National Officials (Judges, Course Designers, according to the discipline) including the national Coaches with their pupils and Events’ Organisers. Organised by the FEI Solidarity Fund, the aim of the event is to provide training for developing National Federations.

Dates

The FEI Solidarity Fund Equestrian Sport Educative event will run over four full days from

24-29 March, 2023,

with three days of education for national officials including judges, course designers, coaches and event organisers, followed by one day of competition whereby all knowledge will be put into practice.

Eligibility

The course is open to a maximum of eight judges, a maximum of eight course designers and a maximum of eight coaches, with each coach having a maximum of three riders. Members must be over the age of 18 to participate. (Demo riders must be over the age of 12). Participants must be available for the entire course.

Certification 

This is the first of two courses which will act as certification for national judges and national course designers. Certification will be provided by the MEF and not FEI. Participants who benefit from this training will be expected to volunteer their services to the national federation throughout the season. 

Enrolment

Members who are interested in any parts of this course are to fill in their interests by no later than 1st February, 2023. Members interested in only one of the courses will select a first preference only. Members who would like to do more than one course can select a second and/or third preference.

Selection 

The MEF will take into consideration the requests of members, it is up to the MEF to select and monitor progress of participants on the course.
